During the COVID-19 pandemic, weddings and shoots have been prevented from taking place, and wedding suppliers and couples alike are very aware that it is going to take a long time for weddings to return to being typically big affairs with large numbers of people gathering together. With this in mind, Molly from Wild Meadow Photography decided to hold a micro styled shoot to show how small, understated weddings can still be incredibly beautiful and special (and possible!).
A private area of land was used, with a relaxed, bohemian-styled picnic set up in amongst the trees and an evening set up in front of the barn, utilising the space around them.
All the suppliers involved adhered to social distancing measures, with contact-free collection of items prior to the shoot taking place. Molly used longer lenses and a macro zoom lens for the details, whilst the model, Katie, is a bridal hair and make-up artist, so she did her own hair and make-up.
