Not all brides want to wear a dress at their wedding, and as the popularity of bridal suits and jumpsuits has increased, the options and styles available every season have also done so. With that in mind, I have researched and compiled an eclectic selection of gorgeous suits and jumpsuits, all of which have been created by designers who have stockists in Kent.

It may be that you want to have the best of both worlds and wear a wedding dress for the ceremony-part of the day, but then change into a bridal suit or jumpsuit for the reception. One bride I worked with actually had three outfits for her wedding; a big traditional dress for the ceremony, a slim-line dress for the drinks reception, and a fantastic jumpsuit for the evening reception. The possibility of you doing something like this will obviously depend on your budget (and style) but bridal suits and jumpsuits tend to be less expensive than wedding dresses; just remember, if you want multiple outfits for your day, you’ll need to factor the prices in!

So, whether you want something beaded and vintage, something lacy and traditional-inspired, or something modern and edgy; you are sure to find a bridal suit or jumpsuit that catches your eye! All images used are © of the respective designers

Bowen Dryden These jumpsuits from the Rebel Rose Range are so different, but both have a soft, delicate feel to them. If you want something a bit different, with a bit of colour, then the embroidered jumpsuit is a must-have; it would also really suit a rustic, outdoors wedding which would complement the detail on it. The second jumpsuit has a vintage-looking edge to it, with the lace detail and scalloped neckline.

Both the Rumi Bodysuit and the Norah Top go beautifully with the Aurelia Trousers to create a ‘wow’ look for your big day.

Eliza Jane Howell For a bridal suit or jumpsuit with a vintage edge, you must look at Eliza Jane Howell’s collections; they are often beaded and sparkly, and are sure to have jaws hitting the floor when your guests see you.
