This sublime shoot is all about exquisite and beautiful colours… The gorgeous, natural backdrop of Reuthes Lost Gardens complements the delightful pastel colour palette, which is enhanced further by the fabulous array of furniture provided by Village Vintage Hire, and styled by Up Up & Away Events. The subtly coloured dress, designed by Willowby by Watters and provided courtesy of Pantiles Bride, is simply divine, with its soft colours and plunging neckline. Willowby by Watters also designed the two-piece used in this shoot, which adds a further genteel look with its full, layered skirt. Kirsty McCall MUA created the beautiful hairstyles on the two models, whilst opting to do contrasting looks for their make-up, with one having darker details on the eyes and lips, and the other having a softer look. The gorgeous bouquets by Wabana Flowers are so different and yet are both show-stopping floral displays without being over-the-top. Wabana Flowers also created the delicate flower crowns worn by both models.
I can’t write about this styled shoot without mentioning the guests of honour; the venue’s alpacas! I think they nearly stole the show (I’m sure they did behind-the-scenes!) - they certainly don’t appear to be camera-shy! And they’re a great way to provide something different at a wedding.
I’m an absolute sucker for a good smoke-bomb shot, and the ones that the talented Sammy Taylor Wedding Photography captured in this shoot are unbelievable! The mix of colours is just gorgeous and completes the shoot perfectly.
