There is only one thing to say as you look through these incredible photos - ‘wow!’
The peacock is known for being one of the most noble and elegant animals, and this shoot encapsulates that idea perfectly. Conceived and planned by Kerry-Ann Makeup Artist, the shoot was based around the absolute show-stopper of a dress by Eliza Jane Howell, and it’s easy to see why. The colours, the textures, the fact that the overflowing skirt is removable - I love everything about this dress! (And who says a bride has to wear white??) The head piece and veil by the aptly-named Peacock+Pearl and the hand-painted shoes by The Pretty Wedding Shoe Company both complement the dress so incredibly well, whilst the gorgeous hair by Tarryn Gee Hair and stunning make-up by Kerry-Ann Makeup Artist really complete the look perfectly. Not forgetting the groom, who wore a bottle green suit with hand-painted accessories to match his bride’s accessories. The wedding rings by London Victorian Ring Co are stunning, with the engagement ring in particular being a gorgeous focal point with its emerald green centre stone.
The shoot took place at Quex Park and the venue was beautifully styled by Light Of My Life showcasing their peacock-green chair drapes and peacock-inspired brooches. The large and vibrant floral installations by Flowers by Donna exude luxury and really make a bold statement, tying in with the colourful theme. Bespoke Bakes created the tiered, decadent wedding cake, complete with flowers and peacock feathers that really looks too good to eat, as well as some themed sweet treats. The wedding stationery by Designed by Joe incorporates the peacock theme by subtly adorning the edges of the invitation and table plan, as well as the inside of the envelope, with peacock feathers; this is exquisitely done and means that it is not overpowering for guests as they try to read the information. To highlight the luxurious and opulent aspect of this shoot, gifts by By Rue were included for the bride and groom.
Photographers Becky Wright Creative and Tony Pullen Photography captured the day beautifully! So, for the ultimate colourful wedding full of rich, lavish tones, have a look through the gorgeous photos below for some incredible inspiration.
