This may have been a very small shoot, but it looks like it was so much fun! Making the most of the amazing areas we have around us, Sarah of Strawberry Photography and her intimate team of suppliers have showed how you could still have a great day by making the best of the current situation (as much as you can!).
Here’s what she had to say about it: ‘We went for a much more simplified styled shoot and we just loved it! With everything that's happening around us - I really wanted to bring this to the shoot. Weddings are becoming micro weddings, dress viewings are going virtual and hair dressers are closed. We wanted to show that you can still have a great day without everything that we are so used to - Love isn't cancelled, and that's exactly what it's about.
The idea was to head somewhere local - We have some beautiful spots where we live and wanted to make the most of this. I also wanted to step out of the norm - nothing is normal at the moment right? The setting was woodland - deep colours which is why we chose an emerald green skirt (2 piece posted directly to me to keep it contactless delivery). When we arrived and stepped into the woodland area, it instantly worked and the contrast in colours just exploded! We found so many different spots that were bursting with vibrant colours.
As a photographer my approach is pretty informal and fun so this was also important to show this off as well. My lovely model, Harriet, was a dream and I think the fun we had really comes across in the images.’
Fun, natural, relaxed… perfect!
