I’ve loved this venue since I first heard about it, so I am super excited to be able to feature Christine and Kate’s recent wedding at The Beach Hut!
Christine and Kate got engaged last summer whilst on a glamping trip together. They knew they wanted a ‘relaxed, informal but special day with close family’ and The Beach Hut on the pier in Herne Bay provided the perfect setting for their special day. They wore different dresses but had matching bouquets with cream and blue colours, with hints of soft pink. Their wedding breakfast was the traditional seaside meal of fish and chips (of course!), and instead of a wedding cake, they had wedding ice cream in the form of Mr Whippy’s!
They both agree that the most memorable part of the day was the moment they became wife and wife, and they’re looking forward to having a bigger celebration once the COVID restrictions have been lifted.
They also said that when it comes to planning your wedding, ‘Do your wedding exactly how you want it and be flexible if plans don’t go exactly right as it will still be perfect for you both’.
Huge congratulations to Kate and Christine, and thank you so much for letting me feature your personal day on Weddings in Kent!
