Chafford Park Estate, a family-run wedding venue on the Kent and Sussex border, has added its on-site Georgian Manor House to its wedding package. Newly engaged couples can now wake up just a stone’s throw away from where they will get married as they stay in an incredible Jane Austen style, 18th Century Georgian Manor house.

The Chafford Park Manor House is quintessentially English and central to the 300 acre estate. Adding it to the package offers brides not only beautiful accommodation on-site of the venue, but an opportunity to spend the weekend pampering or relaxing ahead of their big day. With the inclusion of the Manor House, couples can enjoy planning their wedding with the existing package; two granary barns, the woodland forest and the lawn, without having to worry about accommodation. Charlie Boardman, a Chafford Park bride, described her wedding day at Chafford Park Estate as, “the most magical day surrounded by beautiful views, accommodation, people and the best location I could have asked for.” Sarah Thompson, Director and Founder, comments: “We're delighted to present the recently and lovingly re-decorated Georgian manor house, the heart of the venue, playing host to brides-to-be and newly-wed couples. What makes the venue unique is the package. We're thrilled to be offering up our previous family home (where I grew up) for wedding couples so that they can experience their wedding over three days.”. She adds, “the Georgian era is a very elegant period and all the rooms were built very square and large, giving you so much room to entertain the wedding party and for the bride to get ready with her entourage. It really adds to such a special occasion, where one can wake up just a stroll across the lawn from where they will be getting married. I think it makes it very special.”

Surrounded by manicured lawns, the Georgian mellow brick manor house places you at the very heart of the Estate. It has a timeless elegance, charm and luxurious boutique style. As you enter, the front door opens into the main hall. To your left is a study, perfect for those last-minute calls to your suppliers the evening before your wedding or event. To your right is a beautiful dining room, perfect for a private dinner the night before your wedding or celebration. Adjacent to the dining room is the traditional country kitchen with an aga, and at the reverse of the house is the gorgeous, cosy sitting room with views out to the walled private garden. The upstairs of the house consists of four bedrooms, all of which are individually styled, each space filled with romance and a style that pays tribute to the family’s history. The master bedroom contains a super king-size bed and a large wardrobe, as well as an en-suite bathroom which includes a roll-top bath overlooking the garden. This room is typically used as the bridal suite with plenty of room for you and your bride tribe to get ready in. Charlotte Edmonds, a Chafford Park guest, said, “We were all delighted by the atmospheric beauty of the House and Grounds, straight out of a Jane Austen novel.”.

Alicia Swiderski, Director, added: “The launch of the manor house coincides with the re-launch of the new website. This summer, we have really focused on improving our venue along with our online presence. I believe that our new website encapsulates all that we have to offer recently engaged couples who are looking for a quintessentially, English Manor House Wedding Venue. The rebranding of the website really brings Chafford Park’s ethos to life, a family run business, with a huge emphasis on how special the Chafford Park Estate is and why we are working so hard to keep it within the family.”
